Story Behind my topic

      Self Esteem

Low self esteem is a very serious issue. Imagine being picked on everyday because you are not good enough, or you are not cool enough, or it is just because people think you are weird. Low self esteem is mainly caused from bullying. It can lead to severe depression, which may lead to suicide. Thousands of people are affected by low self esteem each year by home and school life. "The essential things are invisible to the naked eye.” - Little Prince
Morgan was the perfect teenager, with high grades and the captain of the cheerleading team. Everyone loved her and wanted to be her, but they didn’t really know the ‘true’ her. Morgan’s school life was perfect, but her home life wasn’t. Each day her parents would tear her down, by calling her names, teasing her, saying she is worthless, that she is not good enough. Morgan tried to prove them wrong but they still found something to bring her down. She felt like an outcast in her own home.  One day, things turned for the worse, the name-calling, the mental abuse got to her and she snapped.
